Jordi Flores
Graduated in Economics and Business Management and Administration from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona in 1997, then went on to complete a postgraduate course at the Centre for Monetary and Financial Studies (CEMFI) of the Banco de España. In 2004, he pursued further studies in the Institutional Area at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He began his professional career in the Research Unit of Caja Madrid, where he led projects relating to the International Economy and Operational Risks. From 2001 and 2004, he combined his professional post with teaching at Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M) as an Associate Professor in the Economics Department. In 2004 he joined the Strategic Consultancy area of Solchaga Recio & asociados, and in January 2007 took up his present position as the firm’s General Manager.
