Solchaga Recio & asociados was founded in the year 1999 with the mission to advise the senior management teams of leading Spanish companies on managing political and economic risk in Latin America. With time, Solchaga Recio & asociados has added to its service range while maintaining its core focus on strategic advice.

In 2002, Solchaga Recio & asociados opened a Financial Consultancy department providing advisory services to top financial institutions in Spain. Its subsequent entry to new business lines led to the creation, in 2007, of specialist departments in the areas of Regulation and Competition, Public Policy and Corporate Transactions. Solchaga Recio & asociados has accompanied this organic growth with the set-up of a research unit centring on the economic and institutional analysis of the main economies of relevance to our clientele.
